It is with great pleasure, pride and excitement that we introduce Boone to his new family!
First, we thank the staff and volunteers of K9 Stray Rescue League for bringing Boone from the Ohio Humane Society, to their facility in Oxford, in hopes of finding him a "forever home."
Next, we thank Jordan Quick and Tim Kalohn for reaching out to Canine Academy before bringing a rescue dog into their home. Through consultation, we were able to guide them in their selection to assure the best matchpossible. Based on their lifestyle, Boone's characteristics and a Canine Academy Trainer's assessment, they made a commitment to provide him his "forever home".
Most of all, we thank Boone. He has offered his trust and willingness to his Trainers and caregivers for the past 8 weeks. He has allowed us to guide him from confused and uncertain, to calm, playful and confident. He has shown what is possible through our training process and what a difference it makes in the lives of both dog and owner.
Continue to follow Boone's journey, as he begins to bond with his new family and they begin to speak his language, by mastering his training.
