Lisa, You and your team have worked a miracle!  My two Bernese brothers are completely different dogs and certainly not the same mischievous puppies I initially brought to Canine Academy.  They react to commands instantly and are far more responsive and obedient that I ever anticipated…my highest expectations have been surpassed!  My life is so much easier and so much more enjoyable on the other side of this training.  You promised me great dogs; you left out amazing, incredible and perfect!

I cannot thank you enough for what you have accomplished!

After extensive research, observing Canine Academy graduates, and reading the testimonials of other previously frustrated dog owners, we decided it was time to take the bull by the horns and give  Canine Academy a call.  After meeting with Lisa and her outstanding staff, of course “The Girls” in tow, and observing first hand the facilities and what the program can accomplish, we knew this was the direction we needed to pursue.

We are so fortunate to have two beautiful loving Bernese Mountain Dogs that are giving and with extremely gentle personalities.  So, you ask, why did they need any kind of training?  As Ellie and Zoey grew bigger, pushing the mid 80lb. mark, they still had lots of puppy attitude.  They needed some discipline and structure and we needed some control.

The Off-Leash Program at Canine Academy has been our salvation.  Lisa and her staff worked hard with Ellie and Zoey, and of course our training too.  We now not only get compliments on how beautiful our dogs are, but also what well mannered dogs we have.

We like to sum it up this way:

To All The People Out There Who Have A Good Dog, But Want a GREAT Dog™:
Six years ago, we acquired our nine week old Bernese Mountain dog, Bruno. We did the best we could to teach him how to behave like a good dog, but it wasn’t enough. Finally, when he was three years old, we heard about Canine Academy and the Off-Leash Program. It has changed the whole way we live with our dog. 

The Academy taught Bruno that he needs us to keep him safe and because of that, he looks to us and depends on us for the commands to do just that. Bruno has been a graduate of the Off-Leash Program for almost three years now, and WOW! How our life has changed since he went to camp! The bonus to all of this is, three years later, we are still invited and encouraged to participate in the Off-Leash Outings.
Bruno has been to show and tell at preschool - twice! He walks with me to the bus stop to pick up my daughter - off-leash of course, and he lies down when the bus pulls up. My four and six year old daughters can walk him on a leash. My guests can arrive at my house for parties, while Bruno lies on his mat and watches them come in; before he would need to be the “greeter”. Bruno will come instantly when I call, even when he is in hot pursuit of a squirrel.  
These are just a few examples of what they Off-Leash Program has done for our dog and our family. Bruno now enjoys a lot more privileges, and is able to participate in family outings.
Thank you so much Canine Academy! We now have a “GREAT dog”!
